Post India Trip

As expected, I gain 0.5kg during my trip in India when on a normal vegetarian diet. Much of the food that I consumed gets lodged in the rectum. I have since resumed the Gerson therapy diet on 26 December 2009. I also intensified my coffee enema from 3 a day to 4 a day for a period of 2 weeks to detox as I was taking forbidden foods for 9 days. I had also expected that I will lose weight once I start back the Gerson therapy and this was confirmed when I took my weight this morning. Every coffee enema will slowly empty the feces in the rectum that was accumulated when I was on a normal vegetarian diet. I lost 2 kg. Of course losing weight is not a good sign. I have also intensified my juicing and consumption of solid foods to gain back my weight back and will monitor this week for the progress. Last night, I felt some pinching on my left ribs for a few seconds. Earlier, I reported some redness and hotness around my face, neck, hands and thighs. This reaction is not from my homeopathy treatment but rather from taking of the supplement naicin. According to Dr Max Gerson in his book, A Cancer Therapy, this reaction is harmless.

Saturday's (26 December) coffee enemas was quite difficult after a break of 9 days. The spasm was more frequent and severe. My first emena only lasted 10 minutes but subsequent ones was the recommended 15 minutes but it was a constant hallenge to hold. The place where I got my organic vegetables was closed for Boxing Day and I had to depend on other shops which was running low on vegetables. As a result, I only managed to juice 8 times for Saturday and 10 times for Sunday. I( did not keep any stock of vegetables as I was away in India. Today I expect to go back on full swing at 12 times.

I received a visit from Rose Woodward, a fellow kidney cancer (KC) patient on 26 December 2009 blog posting. From her remarks, I believe that she may be thinking that I may not have sufficient information to make informed decision and suggested that I visit some KC sites in UK, Canada or the US for more information. She has suggested that I take Sutent which has been quite successfuly in USA and Canada. I have done some research before embarking on my present treatment. I do not think that Sutent and/or surgery would offer any hopes of cure and most likely will severely weakened the body. Instead of giving myself a 3 months extention of life with such treatment, why don't I try some therapy that will offer 5 years or possibly more and at the same time lead a healthy quality of life? Of course, I cannot guarantee what I am doing will work or not. So far, I think my therapy is working as I have not developed further symptoms which according to my oncologist is a good sign. It's close to 4 months since I discovered my present condition. My first CT scan in September 09 showed 21 and 23 nodes in my left and right lungs respectively with two nodes of about 3cm in the left and right lungs. Another CT scan 6 weeks later showed the big nodes has shrunk to about 1.5cm and my oncologist counted (later confirmed with the radiologist) that there were no new nodes found. The tumor mass has also shrunk a little. I had just started the Gerson therapy for 3 weeks only then. Of course I would like to go for another CT scan now but due to the radiation, I have to differ it much later date.
